You’ll board our comfortable coach, meet our legendary guide and fellow adventurers. As we cross the country there are quaint villages, lush countryside and even some castle ruins to see as we head towards Caherconnell Fort.
Arriving at Caherconnell Fort, you will have the opportunity to stroll around this well preserved ring fort and take in its ancient history. Next to the fort you will have the opportunity to experience a sheep dog demonstration by the local farmer and learn all about sheep farming in Ireland. Watch these amazing dogs weave and turn the flock at the farmers wish.
It’s time for lunch, so we head to Doolin – a beautiful village famed for its traditional music on the edge of the Atlantic (lunch not included).
After lunch we will board our trusty vessel and take a boat ride along the base of the cliffs for 1 hour taking in spectacular cliff views from the ocean! The cliffs rise high above you – imposing natural formations surrounded by the dramatic and lush landscape that Ireland is known for.
Not only will you experience the cliffs from the sea but you will also get to walk the cliff tops to view the Cliffs of Moher from its iconic standpoint. After your amazing adventure to the edge of the world and back you can reminisce about your wonderful day back in Dublin.
Note that during the months between November and February both the boat cruise and Caherconnell Ring Fort and Sheep farm will close. As an alternative we are very pleased to offer Ailwee Caves, Ireland’s premier cave system, 12th century Corcomroe Abbey and the 5000yr old Poulnabrone Dolmen. Don’t forget to add the discount code IRLANDA to get a 5% off.
